A souvenir of the exciting new tollway in Illinois ("new" circa mid-twentieth century), the center of the plate shows scenes of a roadway, oasis, shop, and restaurant. Genuine retro touch for your décor! Plate measures 7.75 inches in diameter and has an openwork edge with metallic ribbon woven through the openings. Back has a red and gold sticker that reads G NOV. Heart Shaped Green Ceramic Trinket Box with Pink Roses
Vintage ceramic box in a romantic heart shape is white, shaded with dark green, and the lid is topped with lovely three-dimensional pin roses, complete with leaves and stems. Box measures 6 inches across the widest part by 6.5 inches by about 3.5 inches deep. The bottom has the numbers 109/8 stamped in black and a blue and siler foil label, but the label is so worn that the only word I can make out on it is JAPAN. This is probably a mid-twentieth century import item. Box is in very good condition with one very tiny (2mm) chip in a rose petal (see closeup photo).

1974 Lego Love Plate – Blue and White
Decorative plate features a young couple about to kiss. Around the rim of the plate are the words NO MATTER WHAT NO MATTER WHERE IT’S ALWAYS HOME IF LOVE IS THERE. On the back is the LEGO logo and the year 1974. plus a taped-on hanger that the original owner applied. I left it there since it’s a good way to display the plate, and it has a bit of provenance: the former owner wrote 5-19-76 Greenup, Ind on the tape. Despite the homemade hanger, this plate is in very good condition and will look lovely on your wall, especially if you use capri or turquoise blue in your décor. The design is a dark shade of capri blue on white.

Japan Redware Console Set, Two Birds and a Bowl
Two graceful birds can be arranged easily around their matching bowl. They appear to be looking down into it. Redware bird figures each measure just over 8 inches tall and the bowl measures 9.25 inches long. Very good condition. Each piece is stamped JAPAN in black on the bottom. All three pieces have a shiny brown glaze with a drippy aqua-blue accent glaze. Excellent condition. Circa mid-twentieth century.

Ceramic tile measures just under 6 inches square and is in good condition with one small (5mm) chip on the lower right edge and one even smaller on the lower left corner – not on the front of the tile, but the edge. Back of tile has four cork circles to protect your table or counter, and the tile is marked MADE IN JAPAN.

Napco Baby Shoe
Pretty pink roses and gold trim make this vintage white china baby shoe unbearably adorable. Shoe is in very good condition with some shelf wear and measures 4.75 inches long by 2.75 inches high. There's a small rough edge on the top rose that may be where part of the tip broke off, but it does not seem that any of the rose is missing. Bottom of shoe has the silver Napco label that reads "A NAPCO Ceramic Japan" and the number 2J147. The J could be a 5; it's hard to tell.

Two Vases with Pink Roses Design
Two romantic roses vases that look lovely when displayed together. Both are cream-colored ceramic with transfer designs of pink roses. The shorter one measures 6 inches tall and is marked Royal Copley on the glazed bottom. It has some gold trim and open handles. The taller one measures 7 inches high, has an unglazed and unsigned bottom, no gold trim, and nicely detailed closed handles on the sides. Both vintage vases are in very good condition with no cracks or chips but some crazing. The price is for both vases - - they are simply too beautiful together to split up.
