Vintage Bead Earrings - Unusual Dark Blue Japanese Beads What a wonderful color - rich deep blue! I made these earrings from old Japanese glass beads that have a metallic finish and a black ridge winding around the bottom beads.
I make earrings like this with beads that I have rescued from damaged vintage necklaces. These earrings have surgical steel earwires and measure about 1 1/4 inch from the bottom of the ear wire to the bottom of the larger beads.

Dazzling Aurora Borealis Beads Dangle Earrings I used the silvertone end bars from a vintage necklace and added new faceted glass beads with an AB coating, plus new frosted glass beads for subtle contrast. The classic, simple lines of these earrings are sure to delight and flatter you. In the pictures, they are lying flat on my scanner - - but they dangle much more gracefully when they are worn.
