Mod Diamond Patchwork Leather Purse
Fun vintage purse can be carried as a handbag or shoulderbag. Split-leather patchwork front has diamond-shaped pattern in subtle, dark multi-colors (black, grey, brown, rust, putty, navy, burgundy). Back is solid dark brown. Goldtone snap-frame has fancy filigree in the front. Chain handle can be doubled (shortened) or pulled up as a single chain for a longer handle. Interior lined in brown synthetic faille. One wall pocket with gold vinyl piping and a label that reads BY TRIANGLE NEW YORK. Purse measures 9 inches high by 6 3/4 inches wide. Good condition, shows a little wear.

Vintage Chalkware Cat Bank
Chalkware (plaster) banks used to be popular as carnival prizes in the mid-twentieth century. This kitty is one of the prettiest examples I've seen of old chalkware. He measures 11.5 inches high and is marked MODERN STATUARY AND NOVELTY CO. on his plain-colored side. He has a coin slot in the back of his head, but no hole for getting the coins out. Interesting coloration: beautiful blue eyes, red collar, and green (yes, green) stripes on his chest. Just a gaudy old carny prize - to be prized today. Good condition, considering that this is chalkware, a material that chips more easily than most. The tips of his ears are chipped, and he sports multiple chips and scratches all over, but no cracks or serious damage. Check out that pretty pussycat face.

1930s Novelty Bicycle Pin, Book Piece
Metal bicycle dangles from a leather strip by a narrow leather tie. Top leather strip has BUILT 4-2 tooled into it - - and sure enough, the little bicycle is a two-seater! Painted details are only a little worn. The beautifully detailed wheels actually turn. C-clasp closure, which is a little rusty. Metal bike does not attract a magnet, although the clasp does.
Bike measures 1 7/8 inches long, and entire pin is 1 3/4 inches high. Good condition - - please view all pictures for a better idea of the wear. An identical pin is pictured on page 193 of Leigh Leshner's book, Costume Jewelry Identification and Price Guide, where it is identified as being circa 1935.

Four-Strand White Shell Choker Necklace - Japan
Even the end bars that connect the strands are made form white shell! Lovely and unusual necklace features white shell nuggets with translucent gold-lined seed beads. Necklace adjusts from 14 to 16 1/4 inches. Fish hook clasp is marked JAPAN. A little thread shows on the ends. Vintage necklace in very good condition is a wonderful summer accessory.

These black glass earrings have a deeply dimensional intricate design with cuts and angles that sparkle in the light. The surface is finished in a deep metallic gold, and the effect is simply stunning. Dating from the mid-twentieth century, these clip earrings measure 1 1/4 inches across. Although they are unmarked, they are quite probably Czech. Very good condition - the glass is in excellent condition, while the clipbacks show some wear.

Unusual Design RS Pin-Pendant - Signed Denbé
Originally $59.00, now reduced 25%! Vintage silver-colored metal pin has rhinestones on stems "growing" out of the center of a clear rhinestone circle. Gorgeous, sparkling stones - Denbé used quality materials in their construction. Pin measures almost 2 inches across and has a hook/loop on the reverse side for use as a pendant. Silvertone stems are "rooted" in the circle but protrude, making the pin about 3/4 inches deep. The stems feature clear white rhinestones of various shapes accented with narrow emerald-cut rhinestones in deep aqua blue. All stones are prong-set and have closed-back settings. Very good condition although one stem on the far left (see picture) has a small, slightly bent and darkened place where a stone may one have been attached. It is a very minor defect and does not detract from the beauty of this pin at all. This is the only Denbé jewelry I have ever found and I find it quite exciting! The quality is admirable and the design is elegant and playful at the same time.
