This darling little vintage snap-frame bag has a front and back made from a most interesting material - "carpet" is the best way I can describe it! It looks hooked - - it's not needlepoint or tapestry - - it consists of little loops of black and shades of brown. Please look at the enlarged images and you'll have a better idea of its appearance. The ends are made from a very nice soft vinyl that resembles leather so well that it almost fooled me. Purse measures almost 10 inches long by 5 1/2 inches high. Black fabric lining, no inner pockets or labels. Chain handle is attached to hinges so it can be tucked inside or pulled outside in order to carry the purse. Good condition - some wear to the brass frame and a small part of the chain handle has the brass finish worn off - this is visible in the picture.
