Charming pin in sterling with an aqua (teal) colored rhinestone inside the lantern. A floral vine winds up the lamp post. Pin measures 2 3/8 inches high and is in very good condition with some patina. The back is marked "STERLING Lang" and the "S" in Sterling is shaped like a swan. Safety clasp. Although this pin is marked sterling, the metal has a slightly golden-yellow cast, even after polishing. Identical pin, with citrine-colored rhinestone, is pictured on page 204 of Cherri Simonds' book, Collectible Costume Jewelry.
