These vintage Bobbie Brooks sailor-style shorts look as though they've never been worn! They fasten in the front with a buttoned panel. The back has a white lace-up tie that will allow for a little adjustment in the waist. No waistband - - darts in front and back. The shorts are a nice dark navy blue - - the scans look a little too purple. No fabric labels, but the material feels like a polyester/cotton blend.
These shorts are a vintage size 7 which is smaller than today's size 7. PLEASE check measurements and allow for some movement. I measured the shorts while they were lying flat. Waist: 23 to 24 inches, hips: 36 inches, inseam: 8 1/2 inches. Width of leg at hem: 8 3/4 inches (or 17 1/2 inches around). Perfect summer item for the vintage-chic girl who loves fun in the sun!
