A wonderful accessory for your elegant evenings out! Vintage clutch purse has an 11-inch round serpentine goldtone chain that can be folded into the purse or pulled outside of it to carry it by. Purse measures 9 1/2 inches across the widest part (near the bottom) and 6 1/4 inches high. Frame measures 8 inches across. Exterior of purse is finely-textured black crepe in a synthetic - probably rayon. The fabric is gathered from the snap-frame. The frame is unusual in that it is brushed goldtone on one side and black fabric-covered on the other (see all pictures). A brushed goldtone snap-clasp closes the purse on top. The interior is lined in peach satin and has one open side-wall pocket with GARAY MADE IN U.S.A. stamped in gold. Very good condition, circa 1960s.
