The center focal point of this lovely necklace is a 3/4-inch cloisonné linsin bead. (Linsin = a flat round bead with a side-to-side hole - or in this case top-to-bottom) The cloisonné bead is suspended from a chain that I made of goldtone links and black and pinkish-mauve glass beads. These beads pick up the colors in the cloisonné bead. The necklace is a good choker length at 16 1/3 inches and it has a goldtone spring ring clasp. The matching earrings are dainty, dangling only 1/2 inch below their surgical steel earwires. The earwires are two-tone: the part that goes through your ear is silver-colored surgical steel, and the little bead-and-coil accent pieces are goldtone. A lovely gift with a slight Oriental influence in the style.
