A necklace made of multiple strands that can be twisted is called a torsade. This one is made of twelve strands of molded-on plastic beads in clear, topaz, and amber shades. Lovely warm colors! The clasp is especially nice: a faceted amber-colored plastic stone is encircled by a filigree setting. Push-in clasp. Unmarked necklace dates from circa 1960s and is in very good condition. Necklace measures 18 1/2 inches, depending on how much you twist it.
