Whimsical orange and white ceramic dog sits by a green tub toothpick holder. Bottom is marked MADE IN JAPAN in red. Glaze is applied carelessly. Dog measures just over 2 inches high. Someone has written on the bottom "Galva '38" in pencil. (Galva is a town about 20 miles from Kewanee, Illinois, which is where Mama Cat used to live). Tiny vase is also carelessly decorated. Peach-colored lustre finish with floral design on front. Vase measures 1.5 high and is marked JAPAN MADE in black. Both pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
