Two cherubic children support a shallow oval dish. (They're wingless, so technically they aren't cherubs.) Cream-colored ceramic pedestal dish or comport would be perfect for potpourri, as a soap dish, candy dish, a place for visitors to leave their calling cards - - or many other uses! Dish stands almost 8.25 inches high. Oval dish portion on top measures 6 inches wide. No manufacturer's mark or sticker. Very good condition with no chips or cracks, but a number of very tiny (pinpoint-sized) glaze misses which do not affect the beauty of this piece. Age unknown – probably last half of the twentieth century.
