Candy pink cotton crochet thread was used to make these kitschy covers. The tissue box cover is trimmed with purchased white lace. It fits the small boutique type of tissues or Kleenex (about 5 inches high). The soap cover is made to look like a turtle and is almost 7 inches long. An oval bar of bath soap fits in it nicely. I’ll bet it was made to fit that Sweetheart soap that was so popular when we were (much) younger. Both hand-crocheted pieces have drawstring closures. Age and needlework artist are unknown; I purchased them with some other vintage textiles. Very good condition. Soap and tissues not included.
