Circa 1960s princess-seamed sheath dress is perfect for the cocktail hour on up to the bewitching hour! Fabric is schiffli-embroidered with tan thread in a luscious all-over floral design. Scoop neck bares the décolletage; back is scooped also. Metal zipper in back. Solid black flounce at the left hip adds a sassy touch. Narrow skirt will put a wiggle in your walk. Dress is lined in a fine net and has a very wide hem that is finished with hem tape. Beautiful quality! No labels. Measurements were taken with the dress lying flat. Please compare measurements to those of a dress that fits you well, not to your body measurements. Bust: 36 inches around. Waist: 26 inches. Hips: 36 inches. Length of bodice from shoulder to waist: 15 inches. Skirt length from waist to hem edge: 24 inches. Circumference of hem: 38 inches around. No kick pleat or slit in the bottom of the skirt. This fabric does not have much give, so please check measurements carefully. Synthetic fabric feels like taffeta and rustles like it, too. Very good condition with a couple of tiny snags in the embroidery, but nothing serious. An unusual and attractive party dress.
