Dusty pink jacquard weave in a medium, substantial weight – this fabric was a perfect choice for this dress! Circa 1960s, metal zipper in side. Sleeves are three-quarter or possibly seven-eighth length. Flattering, graceful princess seaming. Deep flounce at bottom. Well-made dress has no labels. I suspect it may be home-tailored, which would certainly make it one of a kind. Seams are not serged, nor are they pinked. Interfacing is a taffeta-like synthetic. Hem flounce is lined and the seam that attaches it to the dress is reinforced with hem tape. A gorgeous dress, a fabulous find! Measurements were taken with the dress lying flat, then doubled to figure the distance all the way around. Please compare measurements to those of a dress that fits you well, not to your body measurements. Bust: 36 inches around. Waist: 27 inches. Hips: 35.5 inches. Width from shoulder to shoulder: 16.5 inches. Sleeve length from shoulder to sleeve hem: 16 inches. Sleeve hems are finished with hem tape. Length from shoulder to hem: 41.25 inches. Circumference of skirt just above flounce: 40 inches. Flounce: 8.75 inches deep.
Three sparkling silvertone cluster rhinestone buttons decorate the top front. Dress has just been dry cleaned. Excellent condition.
