Antiqued goldtone necklace with one 33-inch chain that falls beneath the ornately detailed pendant. The pendant of heavy goldtone filigree is trimmed with tiny simulated pearls and at its center is a porcelain oval with a transfer design of a romantic couple. The man is serenading the woman. The same design is on the smaller oval that is fastened in place like a slide above the large pendant. The large pendant measures 2 1/8 inches high. Because of the placement of the small porcelain oval, the shorter chain only measures 21.5 inches. A foldover clasp joins both chains, and despite this awkward description, the necklace falls gracefully into place when worn! Vintage piece in very good condition, unsigned. It reminds me of a Victorian revival piece, but the construction looks more like circa 1960s – 1970s.
