A souvenir of the exciting new tollway in Illinois ("new" circa mid-twentieth century), the center of the plate shows scenes of a roadway, oasis, shop, and restaurant. Genuine retro touch for your décor! Plate measures 7.75 inches in diameter and has an openwork edge with metallic ribbon woven through the openings. Back has a red and gold sticker that reads G NOV. CO / MADE IN JAPAN. Good condition, a little bit of wear, more to the ribbon than the plate.
