RARE HAWAIIANA OLD CARVED PINEAPPLE BAUBLE BRACELET!
This is a magnificient piece of vintage Hawaiiana that appears to be from the art deco era..though I am unsure of its exact age. It measures approximately 8 1/2" long and is made of wonderfully woven natural straw or wicker type links with hand carved and painted wooden pineapples and leaves dangling from it. Each realistically depicted fruit and leaf measures an ample 1 1/4" long. A carved hook made of either tortoise COLORED celluloid or horn attatches to the end woven link. It appears to be hand carved as well.
In amazingly well perserved condition, this is as mint as I've ever seen! All original, in EXCELLENT condition, this fruity treasure would compliment any collection of wooden jewelry as well as figural bakelite pieces. The paint is vibrant and unfaded, and the wood is unchipped and skillfully cut. A handsome piece; a wonderful find!

VINTAGE CARVED WOODEN MAMMY w BUCKET BROOCH
This charming carved pin has been in my private collection for over a decade. Measuring about 2 3/4" high, the fine example of Black Americana appears to date back to the 1930s or 40s...maybe earlier, I'm not sure.
A one-of-a-kind piece, the carving embodies the true feeling of a black mammy in wonderful, yet somewhat primitive folk art style. She's hand crafted from a medium wood and has a white apron with red polka dots, a matching hat or heard covering, and a blue blouse. She holds a carved wooden bucket which swings freely from a little cord attached to her arm. Her feet and hair are painted black.
The brooch, though quite wonderful, is far from perfect. One of her arms is detached and she has a loop with a chain on it, though nothing is attached to it. Despite her problems, she is just brimming over with personality! Her facial features are deeply carved and of a nice relief and the carving is detailed and intact. Most of the paint is still intact, with minor loss on her skirt and shirt. She appears all original and her brass clasp is imbedded into the back. A must for the serious collector of authentic black memorabilia!

VINTAGE HAND CARVED FIGURAL WOODEN BRASS ARROW BROOCH
I have been collecting unusual and carved jewlery for many years and have saved this one for years until now. This pin measures about 3 3/4 inches long. It is made of a medium dark natural wood. I'm not sure how old it is, but it appears to be at least from the 1940s or 50s. The arrown curves a little to give a feeling of movement, and across the middle are 6 brass studs. It's a terrific and unusual piece and is in amazingly well preserved condition with only gentle, if any, wear. It has its original clasp which is screwed and NOT glued into the back, and it seems to be all original and free of damage or repair other than a very minute nick off the back corner of the bottom of the arrow. A great piece to wear and collect!

Found in Amsterdam (Holland) last year, vintage deco inspired wooden and chrome figural sail boat brooch. Hand made with "C" clasp, circa 1940s or 50s. Nice graining in wood, very good condition, all original, better in person than in pictures.

FUN WOODEN WW2 SOLDIER PIN BROOCH
Whimsical and comical, this hand made pin looks to date to the 1940s or so and was purchased by me in Europe recently. It may even be earlier than WWII, perhaps WWI? The soldier wears a doughboy type hat and has a thumbs up gesture with his hand. Kinda crude clasp, "C" closure, functional, all original, and in very good condition!
