ANTIQUE VICTORIAN EDWARDIAN GOLD FILLED LOCKET This is approximately 1 1/8" in diameter and dates to the early 1900s. Made of gold filled metal, this locket pendant is a late Victorian to Edwardian era period piece which opens to reveal a double interior area to display little photos. On one side is an old photo in Sepia of a woman. Both sides have the original little metal frames and celluloid plastic covering for the photograph miniature. It is marked by the manufacturer: W & SB GOLD SHELL.

The outside of the locket is hand engraved in lovely Edwardian script lettering. It looks like the letters: NMM or NMN. It's a bit hard to decipher though it is so lovely, anyone could enjoy it, despite their initials or name!

The locket is in fair to good vintage condition with some wear to the finish on the backside as well as a small dent. Still, it is quite lovely as it is and could be enjoyed and worn now or restored if desired. I am selling it as found and have priced it accordingly. A sweet locket and increasingly harder to find these authentic period pieces that are a century old!
 

RARE ETRUSCAN VICTORIAN HARDSTONE CAMEO LOCKET 1800s Splendid and rare circa 1860s-80s Etruscan styled gold filled or gilt large oval Victorian locket with a carnelian hardstone hand carved cameo. Measures about 1 3/8" by 1", opens and closes securely, inner frames and photo coverings are present and intact. Minimal wear, excellent condition, in nearly-new condition, though it is well over century old. Never before offered for sale online.

WONDERFUL ART NOUVEAU GOLD FILLED FIGURAL HEART LOCKET Apprx 1 1/4" tall and 1 1/8" wide, circa early 1900s, Art Nouveau embossed design, gold filled over brass base, stamped "W & S.B." with a little impressed star on the interior frame.

Locket is not perfect, gold filled wash shows some brass, and the little tab that keeps it securely shut needs adjusting. The good thing is that both interior frames are original and present, and there are two nice old photos inside.

Lovely piece, fair vintage condition, a little TLC would do wonders, priced accordingly.

ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER ART DECO LOCKET CHATELAINE COMPACT Just in from my private collection exclusively to the internet comes this art deco compact or locket. Dating back to the 1920s or 30s, this terrific find measures approximately 1 5/8". The compact originally held facial powder and is made of sterling and marked on the inside lip. The piece is round and has a loop at the top to hang from a chain. I believe that it was originally part of an art deco era chatelaine, but am not sure. Both the front and back have nice etched lines incised, and the front is engraved with initials...can't quite make them out though.."JTG? The piece opens on a hinge and would actually make a nice locket. When opened, it's mirrored on the inside of the lid and has a round powder puff on the bottom. You could put a picture there if desired. In excellent condition, the compact or locket has little wear, consistent of a flapper era period piece. It is free of damage or repair and appears original and ready to use. Surely a welcomed addition to the most advanced of collections, why not add this one to YOURS today?
 

ELEGANT ART DECO GF LOCKET n CHAIN Though I was told that this was 9K yellow gold, I couldn't test it to be 100% sure. That said, I am calling this gold filled, and it is a splendid oval locket that looks to date to the early to mid 1900s. Sleek in style, the locket measures approximately 1" by a tad over 1/2" and included is a lovely twisted vintage gold filled chain of about 23" long. The clasp is marked "STERLING", but it looks to be a replacement. The locket is a little unusual in that it opens at the bottom rather than the side. Four rhinestones or paste stones make a design diagonally across the locket, and the edge of the piece has deco or retro inspired ribbing to give it a nice stylized look. When opened, a small area on one side is revealed to place a photo inside. In excellent condition, the locket is all original and shows little, if any wear. A terrific collectible and wearable piece of vintage jewelry!
