LOVELY HAND ETCHED ORNATE VICTORIAN GF LOCKET NR 1880s!
I just bought an incredible collection of AUTHENTIC Victorian and antique jewels and collectibles from an Atlanta estate from the heir of the original owner. Included in this special find are unusal Victorian lockets, a gutta percha chain and large locket, some braided hair and mourning pieces, an ivory pikake flower necklace, a TRUE micromosaic pendant locket with hair in it, plus some old Siam silver and other great treasures. This is a fine example of a true piece of Victoriana! The photo locket measures about 1 3/8" in diameter with a 5/8" bale. It dates to about the 188os and is hand etched on both sides with a great etching of a house on one side and a shield on the other. It's unmarked gold filled.
Opening on a hinge with a push button, a photo of a little girl is inside with a glass frame insert on one side. The locket is made in the same style as a hunter's case for a pocketwatch.
In good condition, the locket shows some wear, but nothing detracting or devaluing in my opinion. Minimal wear, lovely to hang on a chain or display and collect! NO RESERVE!

ELEGANT VICTORIAN GOLD FILLED PASTE LOCKET SKM CO
Apprx 1 1/8" diameter, lovely round gold filled locket, circa early 1900s, small round faceted stone in the center...could be a little rose cut diamond chip or just a little paste rhinestone. Not sure. Back is hand engraved with an initial that appears to be an "h". Interior is complete with little round frames and celluloid photo covers still present and intact. Marked "SKM CO" on the inside. Opens easily and closes securely. Very good vintage condition.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ONYX WARRIOR INTAGLIO PICTURE LOCKET
A tad over 5/8" square, gold filled, circa 1880s, beautifully hand carved onyx intaglio of a Roman or Greek Grecian warrior.
Locket is hinged, there is wear to the metal as would be expected, intaglio and backing is loose and could use re-attaching. Back has some dents that don't detract, but I must mention it for thoroughness.
Otherwise in good vintage condition. Priced accordingly.

ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN VICTORIAN ANGEL SKIN CORAL LOCKET
Apprx 1 1/2" by about 1" wide, with about a half inch high bale. Circa late 1800s-early 1900s. Gold filled over brass, showing some brass, lovely hand carved pink cameo that I believe is angel skin coral.
Locket pendant is hinged and has a lovely matching bale. Back of it has an engraved monogram initials that look like TT or TF.
Overall good vintage condition, century old treasure. Lovely.

RARE ETRUSCAN VICTORIAN HARDSTONE CAMEO LOCKET 1800s
Splendid and rare circa 1860s-80s Etruscan styled gold filled or gilt large oval Victorian locket with a carnelian hardstone hand carved cameo. Measures about 1 3/8" by 1", opens and closes securely, inner frames and photo coverings are present and intact. Minimal wear, excellent condition, in nearly-new condition, though it is well over century old. Never before offered for sale online.

VINTAGE VICTORIAN REVIVAL GF HAND ETCHED HEART LOCKET
Just in from a local estate collection exclusively to the internet comes sweet little locket. Measuring approximately 1" by 7/8"", this piece dates back to the 1940s or 50s.
The locket is yellow gold filled and is unmarked. The front is nicely hand etched or chased and the back is smooth, though slightly dinged from wear. It opens on the side and clips securely, and on the inside are little heart-shaped inserts in which to hold in the pictures.
In nice condition, the locket has little if any wear to the finish. Though not absolutely perfect, it shows well and would be a terrific way to show off pictures of loved ones. Never monogramed either! Another plus

WONDERFUL ART NOUVEAU GOLD FILLED FIGURAL HEART LOCKET
Apprx 1 1/4" tall and 1 1/8" wide, circa early 1900s, Art Nouveau embossed design, gold filled over brass base, stamped "W & S.B." with a little impressed star on the interior frame.
Locket is not perfect, gold filled wash shows some brass, and the little tab that keeps it securely shut needs adjusting. The good thing is that both interior frames are original and present, and there are two nice old photos inside.
Lovely piece, fair vintage condition, a little TLC would do wonders, priced accordingly.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GOLD FILLED DAGUERROTYPE LOCKET
Apprx 1 3/4" diameter, machine worked case in a pocketwatch style, gold filled 1880s or earlier locket.
Locket has two photos, one daguerrotype and one tintype. Daguerrotype is of a man and the tintype is a woman.
Locket is authentic and lovely, but at the hinge it has become detached. Sold as found, priced accordingly. Would be $150 or more if perfect.
