UNUSUAL BLACK HEMATITE GLASS CRYSTAL BEADS NECKLACE Nicely strung, circa 1940s-50s unusual glass beads, black with a hematite look to them, like an aurora borealis coating is on them to give them an irridescence. Apprx 17" long, excellent condition.
 

STUNNING ART DECO PURPLE AMETHYST CRYSTAL NECKLACE 28in This is an absolutely fabulous long graduated strand of art deco era faceted crystal beads in a heavy lead bead and graduated style. They measure about 28" long, nearly opera length and the beads graduate from a center bead that's 22.2 mm long to the smallest 9 mm beads.

The necklace is assembled with brass metal findings, NOT chain or string. It's secure and will NEVER need restringing! They are the loveliest purple amethyst color with oval faceted shapes. Brilliant!!

In EXCELLENT condition, the strand shows only the gentlest of wear with no damage or repair. A few beads show minimal nicking, but nothing remarkable or devaluing. Truly a fabulous piece sure to please the pickest of art deco or antique bead collectors!
 

LOVELY ANTIQUE CITRINE AMBER GLASS DECO BEAD NECKLACE Brilliant! Apprx 28" long graduated glass bead necklace in clear beads, opaque yellow swirl beads, and translucent citrine or amber colored glass beads. Simply lovely design, goes right over the head, no clasp needed.

Interesting and different, very good vintage condition, string feels strong, though I cannot guarantee it won't eventually need restringing as ALL do one day.
 

VINTAGE PASTEL PINK SWIRL GLASS DOUBLE CHOKER NECKLACE Lovely vintage necklace in pastel pink hues, circa 1950s, double strand, apprx 18" adjustable length, choker or necklace length. One bead is cracked in half, but otherwise, perfect. Could be reworked into a long strand or used in projects or enjoyed and worn as it is.


 

LOVELY DECO ERA CARNELIAN PEKING GLASS BEADS NECKLACE These beads appears to be from the 1920s or 30s and are heavy carnelian colored glass. I was told that they are Peking glass, though I am honestly not exactly sure what would be the criteria and identification method to be definitive about that assessment.

The beads were professionally restrung on matching silk cord and knotted a few years ago and have been in my private collection.

They measure about 36" long and are slightly graduated. The largest beads are about 20mm to 22.2mm wide. There is no clasp as these are meant to go over the head.

The beads have subtle swirls and little bubbles and imperfections which add to their uniqueness and charm.

Superb condition with minimal and gentle wear only.
 

Straight from my own private stash comes this great faceted amber necklace. This true period treasure dates back to the roaring twenties or even earlier (some call a strand like this art deco, others classify it as Victorian or Edwardian) and measures approximately 16.5" long.

The necklace is a lovely graduated strand of hand faceted transluscent amber beads, 32 in all. They are a rich orange and are natural and NOT reconsituted...rare indeed!! When held to the light they lighten up a bit, but when worn they are like a rich deep honey...truly a special strand! It was sooo hard to capture the true beauty of these, but I guarantee that they are authentic and hand faceted. The amber are on the small side, making this suitable for a young girl, and each bead is separated by a pearl spacer...I do not think the pearls are real.

In excellent condition, the necklace is free of damage or repair, and the beads are not chipped or scratched. I would recommend restinging and putting on a better clasp, though...I'd get them knotted if I was going to keep them. All in all, a great piece to wear and collect for any appreciator of authentic amber jewelry!
 

UNUSUAL VINTAGE ART GLASS FOIL MIXED COLOR BEADS Apprx 15-16" of beads, oval smooth beads, bright mixed colors in red, green, yellow, iridescent colors, very unusual, very good condition, sold as loose beads. Needs to be restrung.
 

LOVELY ANTIQUE HAND FACETED CHERRY AMBER BEADS NECKLACE Apprx 14" long, freshly strung, but clasp needs to be attached. Sold as found as a not-yet-completely-strung necklace. Early 1900s.

Graduated strand with the center bead about 5/8" wide, lovely facets, rich cherry red. All these red strands have been heated and reconstituted to clear them from imperfections.

Beads in excellent condition. Wonderful choker length.

VINTAGE BRANCH CORAL CHOKER NECKLACE CZECH CLASP Interesting necklace, graduated natural genuine branch coral beads, apprx 15" long, unusual coral colored glass and silvertone metal clasp marked CZECHOSLOVAKIA.

Unsure of age...clasp from the 1920s-30s, when it was strung is anyone's guess.

Lovely rich deep orange color, necklace in very good vintage condition.

Branch coral is a rare item as coral has become practically extinct in modern day.

May need restringing though it doesn't feel weak...I always mention that since restringing old beads is a basic part of maintainance when it comes to these types of necklaces.

VINTAGE FLAPPER LENGTH VINTAGE ART GLASS BEADS NECKLACE Nearly 60" long, this vintage necklace is comprised with art glass beads as well as some faux pearls, smaller spacer beads, and various shaped glass beads. It looks to date to the mid 1900s.

The necklace is in good vintage condition, though it will eventually need restringing, as do all hand strung necklaces. It can be worn long and knotted or doubled and tripled around the neck.
