Sterling Crystal Art Deco Moderne Earrings JC
You are bidding on a dazzling, yet subtle pair of vintage mid 20th century earrings in an art deco or art moderne style. The screw backs are marked "STERLING" silver on the back, and each earring is a tad under 1" wide and 7/8" high.
Each of these little lovelies are comprised of 4 cut crystal stones hand set and held in with 4 prongs each with an open back. They are oval faceted shapes and are probably Austrian crystal in origin...they are very briliant and clear...full of light. The mountings are heavy and secure...not heavy on the ear, just substantial and not flimsy.
In excellent condition,the stones are free of damage or chipping or repairs, and the set are in functional condition. I've left the oxidized patina to be enjoyed as is or polished as desired. This would make an excellent compliment to that art deco crystal choker or necklace you have!
PLEASE bear in mind that these were hard to photograph and they just don't show the nice detail after the flash went off...They are SOOO much better in person!

WAY COOL SILVER MOD or INDIAN DESIGN BROOCH PENDANT
Measures about 2 1/4" by 1 5/8", unmarked but I'm 99% sure it's sterling silver. Can be worn as a brooch or added to a chain and worn as a necklace. Very cool funky openwork design. Appears to be a one of a kind artist made piece. No damage or repair; sold unpolished.

NICE VINTAGE TREMBLER EN TREMBLANT FLORAL FLOWER BROOCH
Approx 3" by 1.5", vintage 1930s-40s large retro modern rose gold tone metal based flower floral figural trembler or "en tremblant" brooch. Unmarked, fine quality, clear rhinestones on the body of the flower with little trembling movable stamens made of ruby red baguettes. Stones appear to be intact, though a couple of the clear stones have darkened over time. Appears to be a hand assembled piece, good vintage condition, rare piece. Sale price!

HANDMADE WILD MOD MODERNIST ABSTRACT MOSS AGATE BROOCH
Fabulous Eames era Scandanavian style retro moderne brooch. Measures about 2 1/2" by 1". Looks to be a one-of-a-kind artist made pin dating to the mid century. Unmarked but guaranteed to be sterling silver. In the center is an oblong natural stone that looks to be moss agate. MUCH better in person! Excellent condition, no damage or repairs, looks to be original.

AMAZING VINTAGE EUROPEAN SILVER RING sgnd TABITA 830S
From a New England estate comes this superb retro modern artist signed silver ring, hand crafted of Continental ring signed Tabita 830 Silver. The ring has good weight and is about size 7 1/2-8. The top measures 1 1/4" by 3/4". I'd estimate this to date to the 1950s or so, and I am unsure if it is Scandinavian or Italian in origin....definitely European.
The splendid three dimensional design is assymetrical with a leaf at one end and balls at the other. The oval top has a etched pattern around the edge that is repeated on the sides of the shank. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!
In excellent condition, the ring shows minimal gentle wear and is free from damage or repair. I found only one other ring by this designer on a website, it was quite similar and sold for $145.....any information on Tabita is much appreciated.

STUNNING COBALT ENAMEL FIGURAL NORWAY STERLING BROOCH
Silver w a gold wash, vermeill, vintage brooch, apprx 2 3/4" by 2". Striking design, stamped 925S sterling silver, Made in Norway. Lovely Scandinavian Norwegian piece.
Not perfect, some crazing in the enamel and a little place where it appears to have been professionally repaired. Also, the safety bar is missing from the clasp.
Despite its imperfections, it looks pretty darn perfect when worn, taking much scrutiny to see the damage. Also, it stays shut nicely without the safety and it could be fixed if desired.
All in all a nice modernist era piece for a fraction of the $100-$150 pricetag if perfect.

ANTIQUE GOLD FILLED LOVE KNOT VICTORIAN BANGLE BRACELET
Apprx 7" circumference, adjustable for a small-medium wrist. Circa early 1900s, possibly Edwardian era, late Victorian, Yellow gold filled metal, though there is a slight pink cast to it, apprx 7/8" wide at the widest point.
Unusual style, with a variation of a love knot or bow design, lovely embossed floral design all around the bracelet.
Shows wear consistent with its age, but in overall good vintage condition, minimal wear to the metal, functional and lovely!

VINTAGE RETRO STERLING PINK PURPLE STARBURST BROOCH
One of the nicest pieces of art deco inspired art moderne or retro era jewelry I've had in quite sometime, this impressive brooch or large pin dates to the 1930s or 40s and measures an ample 2 1/4" in diameter.
The heavy brooch is stamped "STERLING" silver on the back and was purchased with the Pennino demi parure found if you click to my other auctions. It's a fabulous starburst or sunburst design with a somewhat worn gold wash or vermeill.
Perhaps a piece of early Trifari? Unsure, but it is a fine quality piece with two part construction as is illustrated in my photos. Three secure rivets hold the center piece to the back piece. It has a circle in the center that's opne with a row of deep amethyst navettes or marquise paste glass stones encircling it. The outer ring is the burst design with pink faceted crystal or paste stones, and all the stones are openbacked like fine jewelry. At the edge of the brooch are clear rhinestones.
In good condition, the brooch is lovely as it is. However, there are two small apologies to be made. One, it has one clear stone and one purple stone missing, and two, as mentioned, the vermeill is slightly worn. The stones should be relatively easy to replce if desired, and the finish is fine and very pretty as it is.
Heavy and lovely, this would be terrific on a coat or blazer this Fall and Winter. In a boutique or high couture shop, this calibre of jewelry would sell for $250 to $500!

Straight from my private feline collection exclusively to the internet comes this terrific Art Moderne kitty. Dating back to the 1950s, the pin measures approximately 1 1/2" high.
The little kitty is just screaming, or should I say "Meowing" of the retro fifties. Sleekly styled as an abstract feline, the piece is stamped "BEAU STERLING", The cat has a nice florentine finish face with a wirery body and tail attached.
In excellent condition, this treasure is all original and ready to wear by itself or in a grouping with your favorite outfit's jacket lapel or cap.

The little kitty is just screaming, or should I say "Meowing" of the retro fifties. Sleekly styled as an abstract feline, the piece is stamped "BEAU STERLING", The cat has a nice florentine finish and is seen from his rear view.
In nice condition, this treasure is all original, though it does have some wear to the finish. It shows great, however, and I would leave it just as it is. Surely a welcomed addition to the most advanced of collections, why not add this one to yours today?
