GREAT ART NOUVEAU HEMIXEM BELGIAN TUBELINED FLORAL TILE
This Majolica like tile measures about 6" square and 3/8" thick, and I believe it was manufactured about 1900 by S.A.Manufactures Céramiques d´Hemixem,Gilliot & Cie. , Hemiksen Antwerp (Antwerpen). It has an awesome floral relief design of brilliant pink flowers and art nouveau swirling green folliage.
The design is on a white background with some expected crazing and minimal nicks to the edge of the tile as illustrated No apparent damage or repair. The back of the tile has an "H" in the center. I bought this while in Belgium a few years ago.
In amazingly well preserved condition, this is a rare item to find in the US. The tile was designed in the Tubelined technique and finding Tube Lined tiles are rare today. It is a very pretty stylized design with 3 pink flowers. Save on expensive European shipping and bid on this stunning art nouveau relief tile now! This is the type of sought after tile that is usually only found in books and on expensive European websites.

RARE ANTIQUE ROYAL DOULTON PLYMOUTH HOE SCALLOPED PLATE
Measuring about 10 1/8" in diameter, this superb plate by Royal Doulton has been in my colleciton for many years. I am unsure of its age and upon research on the internet, I could only find 2 similar plates offered anywhere. One identical plate sold for $350 in October of 2004, and the other was over $200.
The plate has a splendid scalloped border and a colorful decal scene on the front entitled "Plymouth Hoe". The back is stamped with the appropriate Doulton Hallmarks with the green stamp "ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND" and number 12 above it, and an additional lion and crown stamp with a tree and landscape. The backstamp is interesting as there are two . The usual Royal Doulton stamp and a further Doulton stamp with the words " Historic England D 5940 Regd in Australia . " Even the Australian backstamp has a small tree and a distant castle .
The scene is of Sir Francis Drake who is bowling at Plymouth Hoe. The colors are vibrant and quite lovely. The plate is perfect with no damage or repair. An awesome display piece to add to your Royal Doulton collection!

RARE SET 3 WEDGWOOD JASPERWARE SIGNED ASHTRAYS
Straight from a local estate collection exclusively to eBay comes these beautiful Wedgwood ashtrays. Each measuring approximately 3 1/2" in diameter, this lovely set is a prime example of the exquisite Jasperware that has made Wedgwood the classic collectible we know today.
The ahstrays are all identical with a green background and a raised white design, tyoical of authentic Jasperware.
What makes this especially collectible is the fact that the three pieces are signed and dated on the bottom by an original heir of Josiah Wedgwood. I purchased this from a person who traveled all around the world in the military. Evidently, he was at the Wedgwood factory in Dublin in 1963.
The base is marked as follows: John Wedgwood July 30th 1963 Dublin
It is also marked by the factory: WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND
The ashtrays are in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or damages whatsoever, and no repairs have ever been made. Perfect for the pickiest of collectors, don't miss out on this rare treasure!

ANTIQUE FRENCH GUERIN LUNEVILLE OBERT PEACHES PLATE
From a local estate, this Guerin Luneville antique plate is estimated to date to the late 1800s. Perfect for the collector of fine English and French art pottery, ceramics and porcelain, this plate measures about 8.5" in diameter and is clearly marked on the back "K & G Luneville Depose France". There is also an imprint of an "R" and a small wire to hang it on the wall.
It appears to be handpainted in enamel and signed by the artist Obert, though I am unsure if this is made in a factory or sent to the individual artist. The design is superb with a realistic cluster of peaches, each peach in realistic detail in rich yellow and unber hues against a teal and green background.
In very good condition, this Victorian era decorative plate has a small nick on the edge and some factory imperfections as would not only be expected but desired. It has a small nick on the back where it touches the wall. None of the apologies detract from this piece whatsover in my opinion. It is a fine piece and a must for any collection.

PAIR MAJOLICA SUNFLOWER DISPLAY PLATES
Two lovely matching plates, from my own collection for over 15 years. Each measures about 8 3/4" diameter. Lovely yellow, brown and green sunflower design. Really nice, minimal rubbing on the edges from being displayed. Unsure of age...early to mid 1900s, I'd estimate. No markings. Possibly English. Appears to have been based on a Wedgwood design according to my online research.
If you know anything about these plates, I'd love to hear from you.
Lovely condition. Price is for the pair.
