Superb hand crafted one-of-a-kind brooch made of brass, copper and silver with what looks like floating opals in a cabachon form set to one side. The pin measures about 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" and is a fabulous free form style with figural dolphins appearing to swim through the waves. Looks like a 1960s or 70s piece to me, and it was probably quite pricey at a museum or gallery. A true piece of art! Excellent condition, no wear, damage or repair. Opals are gorgeous with rich jewel tones and the craftsmanship is fine!
