Size: 0" by 9.5"
Just in from a local estate collection exclusively to the internet comes this fabulous art deco treasure. Dating back to the 1930s or 40s, this highly detailed piece measures approximately 9 inches high and 9 1/2" at its widest diameter on the bottom tier.
The dish is made of chrome plating and is beautifully designed. It has two tiers. with the top one being held up by a wonderfully executed ballerina. Great attention was given to make sure that she was realistically portrayed, and not just on one side, but on both.

Her facial features are in detail and relief, as is her body, which is clothed in a tutu while she does her pirouette. The frills of her skirt are quite detailed as well.
The tiers of the dish have a nice openworked design with a leaf-like pattern, and the pieces are all held in with flat head screws, one at the top and one on the bottom. The only mark I could find was on the back of her little slippers which is as follows:
REG DESIGN 874837
In excellent condition, the decorative deco piece has minimal wear. The chrome is still bright and intact, though a cleaning is in order, and the pieces are securely attached and original. There doesn't appear to be any pitting to the finish, making this in what I would consider better than average condition. Surely a welcomed addition to the most advanced of collections, why not add this one to your charm braceler or collection today?
