Measuring about 2.5" by 1", this is a very unique and unusual Victorian brooch dating to the late 1800s. It is made of either horn or tortoise, and has a raised relief of a woman's head in silver attached to the front center. Expected wear to the tortoise or horn, but in good condition still. All original, no repair or extreme damage. In all my years buying and selling jewelry, I've never seen a piece quite like this one! |
