Purchased in Amsterdam, Holland in the Netherlands (Nederlands Dutch) last Spring is this lovely hand made pendant to hang from a necklace chain. It appears to be a mid century or earlier piece, and is 800 silver rather than silver, common for many European pieces. It has a fabulous openworked design of a figural flower and butterfly. Measuring about 1 3/8" by 1 1/4", the detailing is quite fine with hand etched marks on the insect and floral sections. It's marked on the back "800" and "HANDARBEIT" in a little circle. EXCELLENT condition, no damage or repair! Ready to wear, a real treasure!! Handmade European Treasure!
