Unique design, circa late 1800s, early 1900s. Stamped sterling with a mark that looks to be a little "L" next to a larger "B". Measures about 2 3/8" by 2', opens on a hinge, apprx 5/8" wide, safety chain no longer intact, one of the little loops for the safety is gone.

Very unusual hand etched chased design, initials engraved in center "JL".

Weighs a nice 23 grams; over 3/4 ounce.

Overall very good vintage condition, wears well, easily opened and safely closed.
