These are about 30" long with a center hanging section of about 1 3/4" long. I am honestly unsure if these are actual cherry amber, bakelite, or another resinous material.
I do know I have had them in my personal collection for nearly 20 years. They are strung on a base metal elongated link necklace. There are 7 barrell shaped smooth cherry amber colored beads, each with hand made metal end caps. the beads are about 5/8" long each.
The necklace is in good vintage condition with minimal wear. One of the beads has an insignificant hairline which cannot be seen very well at all...in fact I only mention it to be thorough, but unless you are looking for it, it's unnoticeable.
A very cool piece! If I recall correctly, I paid close to $75 for this at an antique show back in the 1980s.
