Late 1800s to early 1900s, apprx 5" long, cannot find a maker's mark, oxidation on the tip, black body of pencil in very nice condition with a subtle Grecian key inspired design. Not sure of the material, some sort of early vulcanite or gutta percha of some sort. Gold filled metal end, nice elegant decoration.

Sold as found, appears to be functional. Lovely authentic Victoriana. Interior section intact. End unscrews to insert pencil lead.
