Apprx 3 3/8" high by 3 1/8" wide. Antique celluloid circa late 1800s, early 1900s. Marbelized blue swirl celluloid with a cream base. Purchased when I was in France a few years ago. Dark metal scene in a raised relief, appears to be Virgin Mary Mother Mary Madonna. Unsure of metal, probably some sort of base material, not brass or bronze.
Good vintage condition with one chip out of the back rear right corner. Great conversation piece. |
