Purchased in Europe in Belgium several years ago, apprx 5 3/4" long, carved wooden dutch style shoe, hand painted with a windmille and "Bruxelles" (French for Brussels) on it. Hole to house a thimble, original pincushion worn, but intact.
Very cool old piece, probably late 1800s to early 1900s. Handmade, good vintage condition. |
