This is a very nice estate piece recently purchased as part of a collection of fine Victorian, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Edwardian period stick pins and other accessories.
This piece is marked 10K on the back of its shank. It's about 2 3/4" long total length including its 5/8" long top. The beautiful open work and nice lines dates this piece to the 1890s to early 1910s, a fine art nouveau Edwardian transitional period treasure.
The attention to detail is exquisite, the workmanship superior in this fine design. In the center is a tiny round faceted diamond, and surrounding it are little seed pearls. Free of damage or repair, the piece appears to be all original and would be in mint condition except for the fact that it is missing 3 of the little seed pearls. Generally, these cost anywhere from $1 to $4 each to replace.
Sale priced accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHOTOS DO NOT DO THIS ITEM JUSTICE.
