Just in from a local estate collection exclusively to the internet comes sweet little locket. Measuring approximately 1" by 7/8"", this piece dates back to the 1940s or 50s.

The locket is yellow gold filled and is unmarked. The front is nicely hand etched or chased and the back is smooth, though slightly dinged from wear. It opens on the side and clips securely, and on the inside are little heart-shaped inserts in which to hold in the pictures.

In nice condition, the locket has little if any wear to the finish. Though not absolutely perfect, it shows well and would be a terrific way to show off pictures of loved ones. Never monogramed either! Another plus
