Just in from the estate of the only and original owner, this Angelus circa 1950s-60s 14K ladies' Angelus watch is pristine in every way. The watch case is long and narrow, apprx. 10mm across and 28mm long. Each end of the case has 5 round faceted clear diamonds with an estimate total weight for all 10 of around .50 carats.
The bracelet is 14K white fold also in a flat foxtail link. It has apprx measurements of 6.5mm tapering to about 5.5mm at the clasp. Total lenght of the bracelet is apprx 6 3/4", perfect for a small to average size wrist.
The back of the case is stamped 14K and, while I haven't opened this all the way, I did some checking and it has a 17J movement. It appears to be in perfect running order.
Entire watch weighs about 23 grams.
This is as clean as they come. I wouldn't be surprised if this was never, if rarely worn. Elegant and beautiful, this is not a wach to miss. |
