This has been in my private collection for over 25 yrs. It is sterling silver and marked sterling and signed "Emily". The chain is about 18 1/2" long and is adjustable. I tend to wear it choker bib style.
The necklace is amazingly well made and is comprised of 5 large oval pieces of smooth cabachon shaped rhodochrosite (which means rose colored) stones set into sterling silver mountings. The center piece measures about 2 1/2" by 2' and the 2 sections on either side gradually get smaller.
Superb and in excellent condition, I have treated this necklace with love and care and it is like new. I believe it is probably circa 1970s or earlier as it was a few years old when I purchased it.
I am unfamiliar with the artist Emily, and I welcome any information on it should you be familiar with her.
