I have been collecting unusual and carved jewlery for many years and have saved this one for years until now. This pin measures about 3 3/4 inches long. It is made of a medium dark natural wood. I'm not sure how old it is, but it appears to be at least from the 1940s or 50s. The arrown curves a little to give a feeling of movement, and across the middle are 6 brass studs. It's a terrific and unusual piece and is in amazingly well preserved condition with only gentle, if any, wear. It has its original clasp which is screwed and NOT glued into the back, and it seems to be all original and free of damage or repair other than a very minute nick off the back corner of the bottom of the arrow. A great piece to wear and collect! |
