Straight from my private collection exclusively to the internet comes this wonderful Egyptian memento!! Measuring approximately 7 inches high including it's oval alabaster base, I'm not sure of the date, but I estimate it to be from the 1940s or 50s.
Made of a kind of metal with a copper overlay, this Egyptian figure may have originally been sold as a souvenir. She wears a traditional headress and stands perched balancing on one leg (a new yoga pose?); the figurine is attached to the alabaster base with a flat head screw.
In excellent condition, the figurine all original and without damage or repair! The metal does have slight wear adding to the patina, charm and authenticity. Surely a welcomed addition to the most advanced of collections, why not add this one to YOURS today? |
