This is a delightful memento from the 1958 World Fair Exposition in Belgium (Brussels Bruxells). It is a goldtone pin measuriing about 1 5/8" in diameter. A lovely openwork filligree type design surrounds a center medallian or coin center wth the atonium symbol and a "58" off to the side. One little tine off to the top right section has detatched, but it is unnoticeable and non detracting. A lovely piece for the World's Fair collector, this unusual piece is sure to be a welcomed addition to any serious collection of memorabilia, especially the most atomic age of all the fairs.
I puchased this myself while visiting friends in Brussels a few years back. |
