Unlike any hand beaded flowers I've ever seen, these rare antique beauties have been in my personal collection for several years. Most of the beaded flowers of this genre are of miniature daisy and other such flower types, however, these are done in realistic detail and appear to be nearly life size.
The bouquet consists of 4 large flowers, the longest of which measures about 12" long including its stem.
One of the flowers is a rich red maroon flower with many petals and a yellow center. It appears to be some sort of dalia or mum, I believe.
Another one of the flowers is a strikingly ornate and detailed piece in a lavender pink with what appears to be abought 100 or so loop like petals forming a big ruffled flower that is either a large chrysanthemum or perhaps even a peony (which are blooming right now in my front yard!). It has long narrow green leaves and a long wrapped stem.
The other two flowers are wrapped on a long stem toether. They appear to be some sort of lily, I believe. Each of the flowers boast long narrow curling petals in shades of blue..alternating light blue and periwinkle blue. They each have yellow centers with long green leaves and a thick wrapped stem.
Rare indeed, these are each large enough to display individually, but are still quite lovely bunched together for a colorful and breathtaking bouquet! Flowers like this would sell for $25 to $50 EACH if sold individually, but I decided to sell them as a bunch |
