Splendid antique postcard that appears to be a hand colored photograph with its nice detail and vibrant colors. The young lovers are sitting outside on a bench with a bunch of flowers and trees and a lake behind them. The man appars to be reading her poetry or some other sort of literature. She wears nice empire style Edwardian attire and appears to be a bit smitten by her handsome suitor.
There's a "108" on the bottom left corner of the front; the back hs never been written on or postmarked and says "Fabrication Francaise" and "LUXOGRAPHIE". Also, a little round emblem with the letters that may spell out "A NOYER" is at the bottom center of the back.
Though not 100% mint due to minor creasing on the edges, the card is superb and suitable for framing or adding to any serious collector's finds! |
