This black straw widebrim hat measures about 14 3/4" across and dates to the 1940s or so. It has a fine weave and ecru embroidered openwork dots sewn onto it with a thin black velvet ribbon around the crown. It's in great condition, very good to excellent. Original, no damage or repair. Must be seen to be truly appreciated. A hat in this condition would have sold for $75 to $100 or more in my shop over a decade ago! |
