This is a very nice 1933 Chicago World's Fair Collectible tray measuring 10" by 7".

| It shows what looks like an aerial view etched into the brass of the festivities of this fabulous fair. All sorts of buildings are depicted as well as a tiny blimp (zepelin, dirigible?) towards the left top corner and a couple of little airplanes. In very nice condition, the tray shows minor wear and surface scratches but nothing to detract from the scene. The lip of the tray also shows some minimal use and has a tiny hole at the center top...this may have been there originally to hang onto a wall. I'm unsure, but it doesn't detract. This has been a keeper for years; I've never seen it in any guides, so I'm not sure how rare it is. |
