From my personal collection from over 20 yrs, measures about 4" by 7.5", stamped "Mandalian Mfg Co." Dates to the early 1900s, probably pre flapper era
I purchased this from its original owner and it's never before been offered online or in a shop.
Purse has a silver plated frame with a lovely ornate cornucopia type center design that repeats on each side, and it has a stunning pale blue background and a royal blue and black airbrushed geometric Edwardian era design. Pattern has art nouveau art deco transitional look.
Superb condition, enamel near perfect even down to the little drops which are the only part of the bag that shows some minimal wear. No missing mesh or links, intact even at the hinges, opens and closes easily and securely. No lining. Collectible condition. |
