From my personal collection from over 20 yrs, measures about 4" by 7.5", stamped "Mandalian Mfg Co." Dates to the early 1900s, probably pre flapper era
I purchased this from its original owner and it's never before been offered online or in a shop.
Purse has a silver plated frame with a lovely ornate open work floral design that repeats on each side.
The pattern is a special purple flowal airbrushed Edwardian era design. Pattern has art nouveau art deco transitional look.
Superb condition, enamel near perfect, chain fringe is nice with a few small missing links. Not detracting or devaluing. No missing mesh or links, intact even at the hinges, opens and closes easily and securely. Collectible condition. |
