Appears to be either a high quality gold filled or a low carat gold like 8-9K. It holds on the 10K tester and then fades slightly.
Charm is nicely detailed, mid 1900s, 3D figural with extra nice realistic raised decorations. approx. 1/2" tall and nearly 1/2" wide.
