I used to collect miniature salesmen's sample hats and this is from my own collection. Small natural straw with a black grossgrain ribbon. I have displayed it in a smoke free environment in a glass case.

Dates to the early to mid 1900s, either Knox or Dobbs more than likely, no box, good vintage condition, though a few small pieces of straw are gone as illustrated.
