From a local estate collection of amber jewels comes this 30.5 inch yummy rich deep cherry red amber necklace. The beads are opaque and full of brilliance, the largest focal center bead measuring about 1 1/8" long! While my butterscotch strand is in its natural state, most of the red amber I have come into contact with, appears to be a reconstituted type of amber.
That said, this strand is superb in every way...exactly what any collector would be thrilled to acquire. The strand is opera length, has its original mystery clasp, and is in very good vintage condition with only a minor scuff on the side of the center bead (unnoticeable when worn).
Priced as found, will need restringing one day as expected. |
