A beautiful country scene with sheep, a dog and a boy drinking from a stream., surrounded by chintz, gilded with gold flowers. No chips or cracks, does have crazing, this does not spoil the look of the plate.
The view is well known by Constable,(1776-1837) as a boy he walked the same country lane to attend school.
The original master picture is housed in the National Gallery, London.
