This is a very pretty little snuff bottle in very good condition. There is some residue in the bottom that I have not attempted to clean.
The inside is frosted, a different scene on each side, just above the picture of the reclining Asian lady there is a signature.

The characters were painted on the inside with slivers of bamboo that were made into pens or brushes, these were inserted down through the mouth of the bottle to create hand painted characters.
This has a round off white stone (maybe onyx) top with cork and a bone or ivory spoon loose inside that is missing part of the handle. Thank you for looking!
