Beautiful maroon or burgandy and gold teapot, I can see no wear on the gold and it appears to be quite a thick layer, the center band is rose's.
No chips or cracks a lovely piece.
Arthur Wood became sole owner in 1904 of his Pottery and was based at the Bradwell Works in Longport, Stoke-on-Trent he traded until 1928 then the pottery became Arthur Wood & Sons Limited. Thank you for looking!
