This 27 1/2 x 36 1/2 hand made piece has a thick padded backing that is attached by a thick sewn edging that goes the entire edge all the way around. It features classic Bluebill, hens and Drake Mallards, a Canvasback, Swan, WoodDuck Merganser, Loon, Coot, Pintail and old Thach decoy. The maker looks to be Mizerer. It has a beautiful tan , diamond pattern background. It is in like new condition and would be great used has a pillow, center of a quilt or framed as a wall hanging. The colors are vivid and life-like.

This very old tapestry measures 18" x 43" and is hand made from a very thick yet soft type of burlap. The picture has an overlapping technique which creates a 3-dimensional effect. It is off white with earth tones and trimmed in blue. I am not sure who the 4 people are depicting but since they are herding donkey or llama and based on their hats and loose skirts it is probably Inca Indian from South America. There are symbols on top of a bird and 5 other things but I am not sure what they mean. It could use a cleaning and has fraying at right bottom corner which creates an antique appeal. This would be a beautiful addition to any table or wall!!
